These reports are built with a self-service analytics philosophy, so the business users would be able to enhance or build their own reports without the need to rely on technology teams to make these changes on the reports. Compass TPO portal built on SharePoint has a summary of all the trends and insights including the recommendation for the promotions. From here users will be able to navigate to the different reports. It has a section for alerts on key KPIs like Must Stock List (MSL) and On Time in Full (OTIF) which can be configured. These alerts can also be sent through the chatbot on MS Teams or WhatsApp. Compass can integrate to an existing TPM system to pull data related to promotions and push the promotion calendar. Alternatively, some of the master data related to promotions can also be configured within Compass. Compass machine learning (ML) algorithms are built using Azure machine learning with python notebooks. These ML algorithms are optimized continuously and reinforced based on the outcome. Depending on the data and dynamics of the market, the same algorithms might not work for all enterprises. So, Compass leverages auto machine learning techniques for picking up the model with the highest accuracy based on the most relevant features for that organization. Baselines account for seasonality and distribution changes and can be configured to be based on the recent history or based on the same period last year. Promotion planning can be done with a calendar-based interface which provides a rich user experience.
